Our Story
From 1 Car Valet to 50,000+ Trucks a Year
It all began by valeting one car. More than 16 years later, we clean over 50,000 commercial vehicles every year and have worked with more than 500 companies across the UK. And we’re only getting started.
We never wanted to be the biggest. We just wanted to be the best.
Truck Smart was founded by Sam Neale. It started as a sole-trader valeting business, mainly valeting cars at showrooms. Over time, more and more commercial vehicle customers started coming through.
After a couple of years, the business was rebranded as Truck Smart, with a much clearer focus on the commercial transport industry. Since then, it has grown consistently, adding people, vehicles and capability every year.
Today we operate multiple mobile teams across the country and clean well in excess of 50,000 trucks every year. We have worked with more than 500 companies, including some of the best-known names in transport and logistics.
The ambition from day one was to work with the very best businesses in the industry. That hasn’t changed. We’ve come a long way but we’re nowhere near finished.

More Than Truck Cleaning
For years, customers have asked us where they can buy the same types of professional cleaning products we use and recommend ourselves.
Following Truck Smart’s acquisition of Sterling Products Limited, an established chemical business with around 25 years of experience, we gained additional knowledge, supplier relationships and manufacturing expertise.
This allowed us to launch and expand the Truck Smart professional cleaning product range for the transport industry. Today we can help customers both clean their fleets and supply the products they need to keep them clean.
